According to The Telegraph the HTC Dream Google Android handset will be arriving to this fair isle thanks to T-Mobile in November.
To my knowledge this is the first sign that we’ll be getting this much lauded handset in the UK.
The Telegraph has this to say:
Its arrival in Britain will mark the next phase of Google’s attempts to dominate new [...]

Most leaks come from employees that are less than water-tight, clever marketing or just pure out-and-out rumours.
Microsoft has invented a new way of leaking insider knowledge.
Pocketpicks have spotted a Microsoft Job advertisement that manages to spill more product info than their average press release and waggle-tongued employees combined.
It reads:
“Do you dream about having a mobile phone based entertainment experience powered [...]

Every now and then there’s a beautifully simple design that is so intuative it beggers belief as to why no-one else had thought of it.
But, John Van Den Nieuwenhuizen’s has done just that with his ”Hidden Radio” concept design.
Volume is controlled by lifting or pushing down the top part to reveal more, or less, of the [...]

The world of ‘Inner Space’ is still pretty far off but the Pillcam has just had an update.
Those of you that need this explaining, it’s basically a camera that is just about swallowable. Then as it meanders through your system appearing out the other end it feeds pics back to the doctor.
But now there’s a remote controlled version!
Those scary [...]

Although not really gadget or tech news, except for the tenuous link to a wi-fi connection, I thought it would be nice to get a little glamour and fashion on a Monday morning.
I’m talking about all those young Japanese ladies that lead super-hero style double lives: Mild-mannered students in plain-Jane uniforms by day; French maids, Furries, and [...]

I’ve already mentioned that LG’s KC-910 is set for October and that it will be sporting the 8 meg snapper and 3″ touchy screen.
Here’s a smattering of other specs that this octomeg eye’d soon-to-be new flagship will be loaded with (even though it’s rear aint as pretty as it could’ve been in my opinion).
Quadband GSM [...]

Ars Technica has changed its mind after saying that iTunes 8 won’t be on stage at Apple’s Let’s Rock September 9 event.
So I’m taking it that iTunes 8 will be available then.
Not only that but they’re saying Apple will also release the iPhone 2.1 update that in theory will fix the apparently large password [...]

Now, my memories of caravan holidays aren’t the most glamourous.
Between 4 and 6 people and a dog sharing a thinly skinned mobile home on the cliff tops of Filey on the North Yorkshire coast isn’t exactly the same as mooring up in Monaco is it?
But if we had the Tabbert Paganini it may have been [...]

Belkin are still pushing to make our lives cable free.
The largest glut of wires must be lurking behind your home cinema rig.
Enter Flywire! Belkins new wireless transmitter and receiver that can send 1080p video over a 5GHz band with a little help from Amimon. This probably means it’s WHDI.

Sony Ericsson has a ‘mines better than yours’ concept to blow raspberries at the other camera phones.
It would become your mobile phone, still-camera, video recorder, PDA and music player.
This concept phone has a bit of a twist to it. Literally!
To lock it or use it you have to twist the movable base. As well as this novelty it packs a 5 [...]

Apart from the amount of GBs they can store it’s all down to how much they cost.
This one, however, has an extra GB and it’s a classic!
The GB in question is the fantastic flick Ghostbusters (also the theme tune was one of the 1st 7″ singles [...]

How cool is that?!!?
I’d be willing to stump up $40 for one and I think you would as well.
Let’s face it:
It’s bendy
it’s got rows of aliens
it’s got a space key showing the laser gun-base
you can [...]
