According to The Telegraph the HTC Dream Google Android handset will be arriving to this fair isle thanks to T-Mobile in November.
To my knowledge this is the first sign that we’ll be getting this much lauded handset in the UK.
The Telegraph has this to say:
Its arrival in Britain will mark the next phase of Google’s attempts to dominate new [...]

Most leaks come from employees that are less than water-tight, clever marketing or just pure out-and-out rumours.
Microsoft has invented a new way of leaking insider knowledge.
Pocketpicks have spotted a Microsoft Job advertisement that manages to spill more product info than their average press release and waggle-tongued employees combined.
It reads:
“Do you dream about having a mobile phone based entertainment experience powered [...]

Ars Technica has changed its mind after saying that iTunes 8 won’t be on stage at Apple’s Let’s Rock September 9 event.
So I’m taking it that iTunes 8 will be available then.
Not only that but they’re saying Apple will also release the iPhone 2.1 update that in theory will fix the apparently large password [...]

Belkin are still pushing to make our lives cable free.
The largest glut of wires must be lurking behind your home cinema rig.
Enter Flywire! Belkins new wireless transmitter and receiver that can send 1080p video over a 5GHz band with a little help from Amimon. This probably means it’s WHDI.
They promise little to no interference and [...]

This even works with a pair of studio grade cans!
These are Phiaton’s latest model weighing in at a mere 6.5oz.
To keep the weight down Phiaton have made the MS-400 from carbon graphite fibre encased in a [...]

Just check this out.
Take the idea of the iPhone-style touch navigation and then times that by two.
This totally cool dual-sided transparent touch display from Teraokaseiko is definitely on the right track.
Perhaps someday it will develop beyond wicked games of, Naughts and Crosses, Battleship and Connect 4.
At the moment it’s just a monochrome 256 x 120 [...]

There are moments (apparently) that more private viewing of the interweb is required.
Microsoft has confirmed IE 8 would get its own “porn mode” (there’s such things on the internet??? ) albeit they’re calling it a “private browsing mode”.
They have gone and named it “InPrivate” which still sounds a bit ‘dirty raincoat’ to me, but perhaps that’s just [...]

This neat little Cellrun shares a bit of DNA with the old ‘lamp style’ iMac, a bit of notebook, a bit low-cost desktop Eee PC.
But with that it looks like it’s carving its own niche as a low-power cool designed desktop genre.
The specs include an 18.4-inch widescreen LCD, built-in stereo speakers and microphone and an [...]

I have a deep respect for Razer and am a big fan of their gaming mice and they’ve unveiled a new model at The Games Convention in Leipzig (home of my favourite goth festival) yesterday. But it aint a mouse!
Named the Razer Maelstrom Audio Engine, the company has turned away from the input peripheral and this time [...]

It’s a sad, sad day.
One of the greatest robots being reduced to this - a novelty DVD player.
I wonder what Skynet would think - granted there was the whole “terminate” thing but this is insulting.
Turning reclaimed skulls into harmless consumer electronics is kinda rubbing their noses in it - if they had any.

Saw this and though WTF!
I know kids are rocking iPods and mobiles as soon as they’ve stopped bottle-feeding but c’mon!
Teachers have a hard enough time keeping the pupils focused and, while it scares me, stab-proof hoodies and kevlar school-bags serve a purpose but Marks and Spencer have gone and released a new line of school uniforms [...]

You fancy an mini/slim pc but love the DIY aspect - you probably made your own desktop before already.

You’ll need to add RAM (it uses [...]
