Google Celebrates 10 Years by bringing Android to UK

According to The Telegraph the HTC Dream Google Android handset will be arriving to this fair isle thanks to T-Mobile in November.
To my knowledge this is the first sign that we’ll be getting this much lauded handset in the UK.

LG KC910 8 Meg Camera Phone Specs Available

I’ve already mentioned that LG’s KC-910 is set for October and that it will be sporting the 8 meg snapper and 3″ touchy screen.
Here’s a smattering of other specs that this octomeg eye’d soon-to-be new flagship will be loaded with (even though it’s rear aint as pretty as it could’ve been in my opinion).
Quadband GSM [...]

iTunes 8 and iPhone 2.1 Available on Tuesday!

Ars Technica has changed its mind after saying that iTunes 8 won’t be on stage at Apple’s Let’s Rock September 9 event.
So I’m taking it that iTunes 8 will be available then.
Not only that but they’re saying Apple will also release the iPhone 2.1 update that in theory will fix the apparently large password [...]

It would become your mobile phone, still-camera, video recorder, PDA and music player.
This concept phone has a bit of a twist to it.  Literally!
To lock it or use it you have to twist the movable base.  As well as this novelty it packs a 5 [...]

MOTOJEWEL - Capitals for a Gem of a Phone

Motorola is the kinda company that likes to try something a bit…….different.
They’re still being different with the  MOTOJEWEL.
Yup - another MOTO phone in capitals!
It’s a clamshell blower with an eye-catching angular shape (take that HTC Diamond!) and it has some decent stuff beneath that faceted exterior.
Available exclusively from The Carphone Warehouse and I’m betting pretty [...]

Nokia Comes With Music Comes To UK First

At last!
The UK gets something first :p
Not that I’m bitter, but us folks here in Blighty get very little before anyone else and usually most tech actually reaches us a good 6 months down the line with the added bonus of a few extra quid slapped on the price just for the privilege!
Nokia are set [...]

Cool Stuff Exploded - In The Safety Of Your Home

Yup - me reviewing a book!
I was as amazed as the rest of you when Liz from publishers Dorling Kindersley sent me this particular tome to read and review for this site!
But once I got it in my hands all became clear.
Cool Stuff Exploded sounds a tad dangerous and pretty much bad news for the [...]

It’s a quad-band, HSDPA-enabled phone, with push-to-talk, aGPS, MP3 player, Bluetooth and a 1.3-megapixel cam.
That all sounds fairly run-of-the-mill so far yeah?
Well, I reckon the military-spec design and toughness will make it stand out from all of those similar phones - but [...]
