According to The Telegraph the HTC Dream Google Android handset will be arriving to this fair isle thanks to T-Mobile in November.
To my knowledge this is the first sign that we’ll be getting this much lauded handset in the UK.
The Telegraph has this to say:
Its arrival in Britain will mark the next phase of Google’s attempts to dominate new [...]

Most leaks come from employees that are less than water-tight, clever marketing or just pure out-and-out rumours.
Microsoft has invented a new way of leaking insider knowledge.
Pocketpicks have spotted a Microsoft Job advertisement that manages to spill more product info than their average press release and waggle-tongued employees combined.
It reads:
“Do you dream about having a mobile phone based entertainment experience powered [...]

Would you feel better if you had a comfy, snuggly, alien fluff monster to cuddle up to?
Well, artist Francesca Lanzavecchia presents “LightMates”
These “soft anthropomorphic pillows and warming lamps” are supposed to keep you company and all snuggled up at night.

Sony Ericsson has a ‘mines better than yours’ concept to blow raspberries at the other camera phones.
It would become your mobile phone, still-camera, video recorder, PDA and music player.
This concept phone has a bit of a twist to it. Literally!
To lock it or use it you have to twist the movable base. As well as this novelty it packs a 5 [...]

A third generation of the DS with dual touchscreen displays one of them being widescreen no less.
If this is true then it is big news indeedy. IGN says the rumored release date of April or May 2009 doesn’t give enough time for a [...]

Motorola is the kinda company that likes to try something a bit…….different.
They’re still being different with the MOTOJEWEL.
Yup - another MOTO phone in capitals!
It’s a clamshell blower with an eye-catching angular shape (take that HTC Diamond!) and it has some decent stuff beneath that faceted exterior.
Available exclusively from The Carphone Warehouse and I’m betting pretty [...]

Looks like the new iPods will come on September 9 just as expected.
Apple have sent out invites (mine got lost in the post again it seems) for the event that is taking place at the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts Theater in San Francisco at 10:00 a.m.
No prizes for guessing that this event is [...]

Just check this out.
Take the idea of the iPhone-style touch navigation and then times that by two.
This totally cool dual-sided transparent touch display from Teraokaseiko is definitely on the right track.
Perhaps someday it will develop beyond wicked games of, Naughts and Crosses, Battleship and Connect 4.
At the moment it’s just a monochrome 256 x 120 [...]

I can remember my brother coming home from piantballing covered in bruises but sporting that grin that says he was actually enjoying this form of ‘friendly fire’.
Now, this is more my thing:
The Paintball Panzer from Funtrak is a mini-tank that will spew forth colourful death (well, pain at least) whilst keeping your body haematoma free!
The integrated [...]

TheElectricPig have a very cool article and listed their favourite 5 iPhone applications for all you Londoners.
Some I’ve already mentioned before but there’s some other great gems.
They cover all from helping you select a restaurant, GPS tagging your ride so that you can find it again through to weather reports (how very British).
TubeStatus (£free)
Urban Spoon [...]

There are moments (apparently) that more private viewing of the interweb is required.
Microsoft has confirmed IE 8 would get its own “porn mode” (there’s such things on the internet??? ) albeit they’re calling it a “private browsing mode”.
They have gone and named it “InPrivate” which still sounds a bit ‘dirty raincoat’ to me, but perhaps that’s just [...]

Here we go!
Sony has finally announced the birth of the PSP-3000 at the Leipzig Games Convention.
The unit itself will look exactly like the PSP-2000 although it has been kitted out with an “improved screen that’s better outside with no glare and a built-in mic”.
The rest of the stuff n things aren’t out of the bag [...]

This one really caught my eye and I felt the need to share.
The chance of getting my hands on legal mind-altering drugs, without the side-effects sounds good - and to achieve this through technology – well, that sounds too good to be true!
Now, the promise of “proven, scientific and safe methods of synchronising your brainwaves” [...]

If you’re looking for a medium spec phone for high-end ca$h - loook no further!
Nokia are wanting people just like you to spend that cash all in the name of Arte.
Or should I say; the Nokia 8800 Carbon Arte.
I’m reckoning that the average punter who’ll even consider this mobile wont be buying it for the 3G connectivity, 3.2-megapixel auto focus [...]

The Xperia X1 should be available next month or so but it seems that SE are already working on a new Xperia smartphone if rumours are to be believed on the internet.
