UK Gets LG KS-360 in August
LG has announced the UK launch of the KS360, specifically aimed at the Side-Kick audience with the emphasis put squarely on messaging on the move.
The KS360’s sliding QWERTY pad is all queued up so that users can send SMS, IM, email and have the ability to access all those time leeching social networking sites.
The GSM/GPRS/EDGE connected KS360 also comes with touchscreen dialing, a 2-megapixel camera and a microSD card slot that supports cards of up to 4 gig.
LG says
“The KS360’s keypad lets users write messages quickly and accurately and once the full length keypad has been opened, the 2.4-inch screen automatically rotates 90 degrees using accelerometer technology. “
Other features include Bluetooth 2.0, USB, polyphonic ringtones, MP3 and AAC audio and MPEG4 and H.263 vid playback, and a WAP 2.0 browser.
It comes in a slew of cool colours that should appeal to even the most street blud out there innit.
The KS360 will be available on O2 and Orange from August.

Thanks for the question.
According to the specs you should be able to use MP3’s for your ring tones - thankfully; I always prefer to use MP3’s.

It has a haptic feed-back touch screen but only for dialing as far as I’m aware.

iv only ever seen the blue and pink ones in the shops but i have seen a red and a silver one advertised on the internet which i would really like to get my hands on. does anybody no were i can buy one of these .. preferably on o2!!!

As far as I’m aware O2 aren’t selling them (just checked the O2 shop website).
Looks like you can get the Blue, Pink or Black versions (at least preorder them) via expansys.

I’m not certain what the data-use tariff is to be honest.
You can have Mp3 ringtones and I think that the teen-market is where this phone is aimed at (think Sidekick
).

I haven’t had one for long enough to fondle so for things like “…a nice slide” I can’t really comment on.

whatever you do dont get this phone…ive been wanting one for ages and they finally got some in stock and i am really disappointed with it,
its not very easy to use, if u struggle getting used to phones then dont buy it…you cant delete any other the useless stuff dont you dont want / need on there.
i put a brand new memory card in there and the phone doesnt read it and it half of the songs i put on their even though they were mp3 they didnt actually work and then i cant delete them…im really disappointed with it it is a waste of money and regreting so much that i brought it now.

hyaa just got the blue one and it is relii good but if u want a fone for the music this isnt the fone for you the speaker is reli quit and u crnt use mp3 songs as ringtones and yes the internet is free if u get on the dolphin price plan on orange

been looking at this phone for a couple of days now and have noticed some of the comments put on this page.
for example, one person said if you put a memory card in it, it will not work? and the msn doesn’t work?
but someone said if you go on e-buddy from the internet you can download the msn or yahoo etc and then be able to chat to your friends, but am not sure if this works on this phone (it worked on my current phone).
i currently have a Sony Ericsson k800i and it is great for taking pictures but not useful if you want to text alot. i have a micro 2GB SD in it already and if i put this in the LG KS360 will it work?

I got this phone on Saturday through ebay. I am the o2 network so bought the phone unlocked. I love it! The camera is only 2 mega pixels but is miles better than my Sony Ericsson W910i. Have transferred all my full track mp3s onto it to use as ringtones. Best phone I have had. Great for texting nd looks fab. I wanted in pink but wasnt willing to spend another £50 just for the colour so have the blue one. All my friends are jealous and want one. Ha! Wish it had a wireless connection though so I could check my facebook and emails without it costing me but you can’t have everything. Ideally I wanted the Xperia X1 but £100 was enough to spend on a phone rather than £500.

the thing i am thinking is because i cant find anywhere where they are in stock apart from the o2 website but they are 109 pounds so i was just wondering if you knew of a place i could get it from online wherre it would be a little cheaper or if you think i will be better off getting one on Orange and just getting it unlocked as they are cheaper but i dont know if the price of it on Orange and getting it unlocked will be the same as just getting it on O2.

It looks like Tanya (well done by the way) found one on Ebay - but if you don’t fancy trying that there are links above to Expansys (totally unlocked) and Argos (Orange again though) which may be able to sort you out.
I’ve tried finding it on an O2 monthly and not found anything as yet.
The PAYG Orange offer seems the best at the moment and if you’re really wanting to stay on O2 you could always get it unlocked - but for the sake of under £30 or something you could just get it on O2 anyhow

I bought this phone after reading all the good reviews and I am sorry to say it does not live up to the expectations. I cannot tranfer ANY music (I’d like to hear from Tanya- how did you do it????). No instructions come with the phone, I had to search everything on the net. The keypad looks cool but is a pain in the boom boom (e.g. you can’t text with one hand, you have to open it everytime you need to txt etc.) Also u cannot listen to radio and do anything else at the same time (txt, search numbers etc).
If anyone can help with how to transfer music, please HEEEEEELP!

:D. its a brill fone and is better than i expected! its touch dialing and u can also search for your contacts this way to. well worth the money. 
would reccommend it to anybody. its really easy to text off too.
For people who cant get them i asked the girl in the shop and she said to ring over everyday and check because they get a few in everyday

u plug this into your computer and it cums up in MY COMPUTER REMOVABLE DISK click on it and images, sound etc will cum up u click on sounds and highlight the music u want and drag it in 2 the sounds and u hav music on your fone…
